Therapy and Support for Fussy Eater Toddlers

Mini Munchers

Mini Munchers is a 6 week programme for fussy eater toddlers aged 2-4. Run by an Occupational Therapist and a Therapy Assistant. Children will be encouraged to explore food using all their senses. The focus is on teaching parents how to introduce new tastes and textures to their tot by working through the steps to eating process.

Session Format

The sessions are 60 minutes long and for parents/carers and their toddler to attend together. Starting with “hello time”, each session will contain the following with some activities being combined:

  • A song/story
  • Hand washing
  • Smelling activities
  • A sticky food activity
  • A dry food activity
  • A Wet food activity

Parents/Carers

Parents will need to stay with their child and be responsible for them. During the course Jacqueline runs 2 evening group zoom sessions which provides advice and strategies. Parents also receive email support throughout the course

If your child has an allergy please discuss this with Jacqueline in advance.

Bookings
